The Rhykane Press is a boutique publishing house focused primarily on catalogue reprints from woodworking tool manufacturers and suppliers from days past. Our first titles were released in August 2013 and include catalogue reprints from Turner, Naylor & Co. (I. Sorby), Alastair McAllister’s book ‘Talking Harpsichords’, and the children’s picture book ‘Woodlore’, by Cameron Miller and Dominique Falla.

There are more catalogue reprints in the works, such as those by Marples, Hobbies, Woden and Thackeray, which will be released soon.

We also plan to offer books on antique tools and antique tool collecting, marquetry, general woodwork and books on early trades and heritage skills.
