Alastair McAllister is a harpsichord maker who lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. He completed his first harpsichord more than fifty years ago and continues to be a lover both of the instrument and it’s music. He has lived through the revolution of instrument making as it related to original building practices and now he feels it is time to attempt a more balanced view of the world of the harpsichord.
